External Dimensions Advantages
Utilized for a wide variety of applications (measurement of fine and coarse particles at the same time ). The CILAS 1180 uses a new patented technology (laser diffraction and CCD camera) which allows for the measurement of particles between 0.04 and 2500 µm in one single range. This system is the best solution for applications like :
Pharmaceutical, healthcare,
Food industry,
Construction, building materials industry,
Chemical industry,
Metallurgy ,
Environment,
...

The advantages of CILAS 1180
No need to realign
There is no need to readjust the system, because all optical components are rigidly aligned and mounted on a short cast iron bench ensuring the original factory performance.
Big and coarse particles are mesasured on the same optical bench. No focal length or optical adjustments are required.

An integrated dispersion system
Its efficient and powerful dispersion system avoids the use of external accessories.

  Exceptionnal reliability
Movable mechanical parts and exposed optical components have been deliberately eliminated. Its one-piece design and its robustness provide for repeatable and operator-independent results. The CILAS 1180 can be used for intensive measurements in aggressive industrial environments.

Liquid to dry mode change in 1 second
The transition from liquid to dry mode is accomplished in the software without any hardware changes by the operator.
